The Chou à la crème is made from pesticide-free wheat grown in Chef Patissier Kawamata’s home prefecture of Ibaraki, and the custard cream is not too sweet, but you can still taste the richness of the Okkuji egg. To enhance the natural sweetness of the Hokkaido milk and cream, pesticide-free raw sugar was used.
